The Holidays are so close, Thanksgiving in our family is going to be quiet and low key we plan on spending the day with our children, who will be doing the cooking.  After Thanksgiving weekend usually is time for us and some pre holiday festiviites like tree trimming open house, pot luck dinner.  This year we decided to paint and decorate the week before, crazy I know.  So we will have to do our pre holiday open house in the beginning of December once all the decoratingmadness settles.  Gifts giving, I was thinking about food baskets that allow people to create their own memories, things like pancake, cookie and bread ingridients.  Think unique and individual!!!

Everyone is feeling the effects of a challenging economy and an ever changing environment.  Think green for your Holiday celebrations !  At home I have recycled all my plastic ware and I use washable serving pieces and utensils, I have purchsed cloth napkins for the holiday table, in colors that work all year round.  My husband Victor and I have downsized our kitchen and have discovered that less is more. There are so many items that can do double duty from stovetop to table to storage for the leftovers. 

It's always great to treat yourself like a guest.  Set a romantic table use, your good china and glassware more often, you deserve it!

Wow summer is finally here, so excited to be out and about enjoying the warm weather with friends and family. In spite of June's challenges Eve's Event Planners managed to stay productive, we picked up two new clients for not for profit work and will be expanding our gift basket selections to include picnic baskets for two, on the road snack baskets and college dorm baskets. Personally, I am so grateful to so many who expressed their support and prayers while my life partner Victor was not feeling his best this month. He is now fully recovered, back to work and anxious to help me in the business once again. In July we will celebrate his birthday and our 13th wedding anniversry.

Finished my business boot camp course, did I learn a lot, now networking with  other small business owners.  So important to meet others, who are striving to make it on their own.

So much is going on in the next month, I've got communions, birthdays, 50th Anniversary party, trip to Atlantic City, Fathers's Day and this is just part of my personal calender, the business is growing and people are calling me for all kinds of advice and services.  I am taking a business development course to network with other small business owners, its a six week course and I am learning a lot, but most of all the support aznd contacts will make my business stronger.

Feeling much better than last month will be having more test later this month to make sure all is under control thanks to all who expressed concern, I will be around creating beautiful events for a very long time. Call me

Hope all had a very Blessed Easter Holiday.  Victor and I enjoyed quiet family time after we attended Mass.  This year our church was full of new parishioners, the music was inspiring.

Today is Friday, I had avery productive day. Went out networking with some new caterers so that we can have a variety of resources available to you.  Also thinking about Prom season, especially our Catholic elementary schools.  Times are challenging so many of the schools may need help acknowledging the class of 09.  Contact us please we may be  able to help.

Good afternoon today is going to be a very productive day for me.  I'm going to a Parish Council meeting at my church.  Our priest needs help keeping parishioners active and involved.  I will be a good opportunity to meet others.

I am grateful for these moments these are the kind of activities that keep me grounded and focused, not all of the experiences in life have to do with worldly pursuits.
